Water, water everywhere!
Yes there really is a Roy Jacuzzi.
In 1968 he put a submersible pump in a bath tub and created
a product, a company and an industry. And last month Marsteller,
Burson-Marsteller and Y&R helped the company dramatically
launch a new upscale line of Italian designed baths to the
trade and consumer media.
Starting from Y&R's exciting new
advertising campaign, Marsteller created a series of environments
and intense water based experiences that brought the campaign
and the product to life. Guests entered Manhattan's newest
loft space, Skylight studios where they were given designer
waters and then took a journey through five types of Jacuzzi
water. A soft fabric maze with dramatic lighting highlighted
the five types of water displayed on plasma screens. The maze
led to a theatrical environment for presentations and the
product reveal. The curtain parted and the audience watched
an aerial artist create the elevating experience that is the
brand essence of the new campaign. Music swelled, a water
curtain parted and lighting showcased the three new Morphosis
baths.
After executive Q&A, and live product
demos featuring Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, the back
of the stage opened and guests moved into a product showcase
and reception area of dramatic lighting and intense colors.
