Marsteller Partners with Aventis, Y&R, to Create "Killer Legs" Campaign

Some of Marsteller's best work happens when we take part in integrated teams. That was the case with client Aventis, where we worked cross-practice, cross-office, and cross-agency. Led by Ame Wadler and Hampton Shaddock in B-M's Healthcare Practice, Marsteller's New York and Pittsburgh offices teamed with Y&R New York to create a television and print campaign warning people about the dangers of Deep Vein Thrombosis. DVT is a blood clot condition that causes more deaths every year than HIV and Breast Cancer combined. If you know the symptoms its preventable, but most people aren't aware of the dangers.

The campaign produced by Marsteller is called "Killer Legs." It's running now in the US as part of a multi-channel communications effort. The Marsteller team telling the DVT story included Tom Dowling, Jody Lange, Lisa Levy, Franklin Feinberg, Carrie Hamilton, Tom King, Louis Spano and Mike McKenna.
